Final Website

http://slab.sunderland.ac.uk/~bf43cp/vet/

This is the final website for this assignment it includes a flash banner , menu bar, and the background image that has been watermarked.. the designs will be handed out together with the cd.
-Also the page look more old fashioned than the other pages due to the fact that it's created mostly with simple html and css. -also by doing this it give a more retro feeling like the firsts graphic websites of the late 90's.
- The Website was made with the idea that it could look more simple and user friendly since there are no websites like this on the internet.
My Research was on websites designs about vets and simplicity. :
These are the websites that took part in my research.:
http://www.pdsa.org.uk/

Simple Exercise using HTML and CSS

http://slab.sunderland.ac.uk/~bf43cp/web1/

This website was make during the first lesson on how to build a website using the Text Note (aka Notepad) .
There is also a Button called "Next Page" which was supposed to navigate the user to the next page of this site.
I've decided to make a box including a scroll bar and within the box the text says  "
Hello this is a website that was made by a Student at the University of Sunderland, the purpose of this site is to give a small explanation about how easy is to use HTML."

Aardman

http://www.aardman.com/

The Aardman website is one of the most enjoyable websites i've known,  that is the result of the animators and the website designer , the tabs of the site have a life taking animation when the cursor moves they draw  them selfs , the site is also famous for Wallace & Grommit. Being made of flash probably the site looks like it doesn't have an actual Grid for the objects at the tab bar.
Finally the animations that pass by the screen give the impression that we are the animators.

Poets Of The Fall

http://www.poetsofthefall.com/

- I chose this website because of the transparent logo that overlays the flash banner on the top of the website, also for it;s calligraphic design at the left and the right side of the page and that the source code is mostly written in  CSS and Html .. which makes the web page to be easily structured.

Design Museum

http://designmuseum.org/

  • Light weight web site
  • Displaying work from various Artist that work at the London expo.
  •  The Composition of the elements blend nicely with the project Artwork and the information provided.
  • The website gives the feeling that is a blog type site.

Nvidia

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/

I chose this website 'cause I'm really interested on how the technology walks on and also for it's futurist design.
The website provides along with it's products information about CGI and applications of the next generation of Artists and Computer based Designers. This site is mostly made in ActionScript 3.0 and Java along with php and Css.
From an Artist point of view the graphics that are being promoted on this site are made probably with a  graphics pad (hand drawn).

Opera Website crit

http://www.opera.com/

In this website we can see the composition of Flash and Css.
the website is designed to look delicate and at the same time give the feeling of something high-tech and fast, promoting the Open source browser Opera. The designers wanted to create an easy to use website that could also give to Business companies more interest about this program.
